General Description (概要)
The course empowers students through innovative learning activities about selected issues in peace and sustainability.

Learning Goals(学習目標)
1. To provide an advanced overview of the key concepts and the theories in the field of peace and sustainability;
2. To help students to develop the research design for his or her independent study of selected topics of relevance to peace and sustainability;
3. To encourage students to relate academic study to questions of practical concerns in the current issues, such as the 2015 Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty of the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) and the post-2015 Development Agenda/Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
