General Description (概要)
The course examines gender relations during and after conflict. It explores the gendered dimensions of conflict resolution, peace operations, reconstruction and development.

紛争下と紛争後のジェンダー関係を考察する。紛争解決・平和活動・復興開発におけるジェンダーの役割についての理論と実践を検証する。

By the end of this course, it is expected that students will be able to think critically on feminist thinking on Peace.

This lecture is composed of three sections.

Grading Policy(成績評価基準)
There are three elements to coursework assessment.
Students are required to attend the class (10%), submit a 4,000 word essay (50%) and presentation (40%).
