General Description (概要)

This class explores the jurisprudential approach to the peace studieds. It considers the positive law, comparative law, legal thoughts history and international law aspects on law & peace study topics.
この科目は、平和研究に関する法学的アプローチの意義を検討し、法と平和に関する、実定法的、比較法的、法思想史的、国際法的な諸問題に関する考察を行い、もって平和に関する認識の発展と深化に努める。
This year, this class focuses on international humanitarian law. Students will learn necessary skills for advocating peace and human rights from legal perspective. While learning important issues through class presentations, students will practice drafting legal memorials and oral pleadings by using the problem of the 2016 ICRC International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition.
本年度のこの授業は，特に国際人道法に焦点を当てて，法的な観点から平和と人権の実現に貢献するためのスキルを学びます。学生のプレゼンテーションを通じて重要論点を学びつつ，2016年赤十字国際委員会国際人道法模擬裁判大会の問題を用いて，人権侵害事案について法的書面を起草し，口頭弁論を行う練習を行います。

Contents(内容)
|
|
Students will give presentations on the following topics.
・Historical development of international humanitarian law
・General issues in international humanitarian law
・Specific issues in international humanitarian law
At the same time, students will draft written memorials and practice oral pleadings for the problem of the 2016 ICRC International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition.
We will discuss the schedule in detail in the class.
学生の報告を割り当てて，おおむね次の順序で学びます。
・国際人道法の歴史的展開
・国際人道法総論
・国際人道法各論
あわせて，2016年赤十字国際委員会国際人道法模擬裁判大会の問題を用いて，法的書面作成と口頭弁論の練習を行います。
