General Description (概要)
Study of multi-national business activites, including such aspects as labor relations, host country responses, local capital procurement.

多国籍企業の諸問題、とくにその資本調達、人事政策、受け入れ国の政策との関係を扱う。


The original edition of, Organization Theory and the Multinational Corporation was a seminal influence in bringing together research on organization theory and international management, particularly the multinational corporation with contributions from leading thinkers. In this new edition, the contributions have been revised and updated to reflect and incorporate new paradigms and thinking in both fields.



 
Learning Goals(学習目標)
At the end of this course, students will be able understand important organization theories as applied to multinational management and will be able to find a master thesis topic in the field of multinational management, securely grounded on organizational theory.

5. The institutional context of multinational activity
6. Control in multinational firms
7. Information-processing theory and the multinational corporation

Grading Policy(成績評価基準)
(1) Participation (20 %)
(2) Presentation (40 %) : Individual presentation (no more than 20 minutes).
(3) Final Exam (40 %) : Final Exam will be held during the final examination week.

 
Expected study hour outside class(授業時間外学習)
140 minutes per week.
