During the Spring term class meets once a week to prepare students for teaching practice in Australia. Topics include the educational system, curriculums, Japanese language syllabuses, teaching materials, teacher''s life in school, as well as cultural aspects of the country. The three-week teaching practicum at schools in the Melbourne area during summer vacation. Academic credit will be given to those who complete both the lecture part and the teaching practice part.
春学期に毎週１時限の授業において海外で行う教育実習の準備をする。内容は，当該地の人々，生活，文化など異文化的側面と，教育制度，カリキュラム，日本語シラバス，教材，学校における教員の生活など日本語教育の内容面を含む。つづいて，春学期後の夏休み中の３週間メルボルン市周辺の学校において教育実習を行う。講義と実習を完了した者に単位を与える。
